Never content to simply relax, Bob & Penny bought an apple orchard and became full-time farmers. They opened a country store, which grew into a well-known gourmet food products market, and a bakery, culminating in a 38 state mail-order business. The benefits from this experience are extensive. Penny learned that she enjoyed the administrative end of the business, handling all the details of the different operations. Bob excelled at promotions, marketing and working one-on-one with customers. These complementary skills mesh perfectly in their careers as real estate specialists.
